Privacy Policy
Last updated: 27 May 2026

Mind Launch ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through mindlaunch.com.au and our email funnel, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights under the Australian Privacy Principles (APP) and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

If you have questions about anything below, email us at [email protected].

 1. Who we are
Mind Launch is a coaching company operated by Josh Holliday, based on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. We provide 1:1 mentorship and educational content focused on mindset, nervous system regulation, and identity work.

We are the data controller for the personal information collected through our website, ads, email funnel, and booking process.

 2. What we collect
We only collect information that we actually need to deliver our services and run our business. Specifically:

Information you give us directly:

Name and email address (when you opt in to a lead magnet, newsletter, or workshop)
Phone number (when you book a discovery call)
Payment information, including card details and billing address (when you purchase the Mind Launch Mentorship™ or any other paid offer)
Anything you share with us in DMs, on calls, in emails, or inside our coaching programs — including health-related context where you choose to share it
Information collected automatically:

IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system
Pages visited, time spent, referral source, and other analytics data
Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 7)
Information from third parties:

Engagement data from Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ads and ManyChat conversations
Email engagement data (opens, clicks, unsubscribes) from ConvertKit

3. Sensitive information
Because our work touches on mental health, you may voluntarily share information about your emotional or psychological state with us — in DMs, on discovery calls, or inside the mentorship. This is considered sensitive information under Australian privacy law.

We only collect this where you choose to share it, we treat it confidentially, and we do not share it with any third party except where required by law (for example, if there is a serious risk to your life or someone else's).

We are not a healthcare provider. Nothing we do is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you are in crisis, please contact Lifeline on 13 11 14 or your local emergency services.

 4. How we use your information
We use your personal information to:

  • Deliver the products, services, and content you have opted in to
  • Respond to your messages and book calls
  • Send marketing emails about our offers, content, and events (you can unsubscribe at any time)
  • Run and measure ads on Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram)
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Improve our website, funnel, and offers
  • Comply with our legal and tax obligations
  • Protect against fraud, abuse, and security threats

We do not sell your personal information.

 5. Who we share it with
We share information with the following third-party service providers, only to the extent they need it to provide services to us:

  • Meta Platforms (Facebook, Instagram) — Ad delivery, audience matching, conversion tracking
  • ManyChat — Instagram DM automation and lead capture
  • ConvertKit — Email delivery and list management
  • Stripe — Payment processing
  • Google Analytics — Website analytics
  • Our website host and tech contractors — Hosting, maintenance, and support

Each of these providers has their own privacy policy. Some (notably Meta, ConvertKit, Stripe, and Google) may process data in jurisdictions outside Australia, including the United States and the European Union. By using our services you consent to this offshore transfer. We take reasonable steps to ensure these providers handle your data securely.

We may also disclose information where required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights.

 6. Payment information
Card payments are processed directly by Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our systems. Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant. See Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/au/privacy.

 7. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to:

- Keep the website functioning properly
- Measure website traffic and behaviour (Google Analytics)
- Track ad performance and retarget visitors (Meta Pixel)
- You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work as intended if you do.

 8. How long we keep your information
We keep your information for as long as you are a customer or active subscriber, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations (generally 7 years for financial records under Australian tax law).

If you ask us to delete your data, we will do so within a reasonable time, except where we are legally required to keep it.

 9. How we protect it
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and reputable third-party platforms. No system is 100% secure, but we take this seriously and will notify you if there is a data breach that is likely to cause you serious harm, as required under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

 10. Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct information that is inaccurate or out of date
- Request deletion of your information (subject to our legal obligations)
- Opt out of marketing emails at any time (use the unsubscribe link in any email)
- Complain about how we have handled your information

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

 11. Children
Our services are not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe we have collected information from a minor, contact us and we will delete it.

 12. Changes to this policy
